HC Vision uses field-proven machine learning techniques to endow low-cost consumer grade sensors with hyperspectral capabilities via software. These capabilities enable higher quality RGB image acquisition, as well as advanced features such as material sensing.
By introducing low-cost hardware modifications, HC-Vision technology can further augment existing CMOS/CCD sensors with up to 100% increased light sensitivity, as well as increased hyperspectral accuracy.
WHY NEGEV?HC-Vision’s founders hail from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the Negev is our home and has provided the nurturing environment in which HC-Vision developed.
It is our intention to maintain close ties with both BGU and the rapidly expanding Gav-Yam hi-tech park. Remaining in this exciting junction of academia and industry will allow us to stay updated on the latest research, enjoy "first call" on emerging talent, and collaborate with an exciting group of agile start-ups and established companies.
While planning for HC-Vision's future, we found that the question isn't "Why should we stay in the Negev?" but rather "Why should we ever leave?!".
